Launching The Brass Buffalo

The Brass Buffalo was born from nearly three years of exploring some of the world's finest niche, small-batch brands in search of quality garments. My passion for clothing and style began in childhood, and as I grew older, I found myself seeking timeless pieces—items that have stood the test of time, relevant 70-80+ years ago and still stylish today.

We are a very small operation, consisting of just my wife and me, with some help from friends and mentors. After purchasing clothes online, measuring my favorite garments, and comparing them to my own, I often ended up with expensive items that didn’t meet my expectations. This led me to search larger cities nearby for stores that carried what I wanted, though they rarely had what I was looking for. Many stores only carried one brand, which was disappointing.

As I completed my wardrobe over nearly three years, it seemed like my hobby was winding down. However, friends often complimented my new clothing and asked where I got it. I would explain that online shopping for these items can be tricky due to varying brand sizes and the potential for costly mistakes. This led me to help others find the right pieces, fueling my enthusiasm as I witnessed their excitement for the items I had discovered.

I decided to leverage the research, investment, and knowledge I had accumulated. There was a clear demand for quality men's wear in my area. I envisioned a place where people could find durable, distinctive, and high-quality garments.

The Brass Buffalo will initially launch as a website. With support from the community, I hope to establish a physical location in my hometown of Murfreesboro, TN. Our goal is to offer a curated selection of the world’s finest fabrics and cuts in a high-end men’s clothing boutique, stocked with pieces I would proudly wear myself.

Throughout this journey, I have met incredible people and built connections worldwide, sharing a passion for the artistry and history of fashion.
